I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Vice President of the National Tractor Parts Dealer Association, Mr. Jeff Griggs. Jeff is the Chief Operations Officer of All States Ag Parts. He is responsible for overseeing the company operations working with 7 salvage store managers and staff, in addition to the Catalog/Internet business that includes the central warehouse, purchasing and product management.
Jeff ran for the board because he thought his previous job experience as a supplier to NTPDA members plus his nearly four years with ASAP (salvage business) gave him a little different persepctive on member issues.
Jeff hopes to work with the board and the members to help insure that the trust fund is secure for the future by controlling expenses within the organization and hopefully adding income through additional members and the annual trade show. Jeff states, "I think I'm a pretty good communicator/facilitator, so I will bring ideas from my peers in the industry to the group including ideas that they believe in, but maybe I don't quite see their way. After all, it is a democracy and every member has a voice."
Jeff would also like to see more suppliers at the trade show which offers more purchasing opportunities to our members. He feels that this goes beyond parts purchasing and could include securing best shipping options and discounts for the group collectively.
