 It's always great to introduce our members to a new board member....Richard Bomberger. Richard is with Hoober, Inc. as their Corporate Parts Manager. He has the responsibility for purchasing all used and new parts and supplies for their four corporate Hoober locations. He also is involved in overseeing their Parts & Service Department. Richard ran for the board because he wanted to help the board find new items or benefits that would enhance the members' businesses. Richard stated that, "it's important to keep members learning and working together for the growth of their business."
Richard has been involved with the Association and has attended many of our conference and trade shows. We are excited to introduce Richard to you and we're all looking forward to working and learning with him.

 I would like to take this opportunity to introduce you to the Vice President of the National Tractor Parts Dealer Association, Mr. Jeff Griggs. Jeff is the Chief Operations Officer of All States Ag Parts. He is responsible for overseeing the company operations working with 7 salvage store managers and staff, in addition to the Catalog/Internet business that includes the central warehouse, purchasing and product management.
Jeff ran for the board because he thought his previous job experience as a supplier to NTPDA members plus his nearly four years with ASAP (salvage business) gave him a little different persepctive on member issues.
Jeff hopes to work with the board and the members to help insure that the trust fund is secure for the future by controlling expenses within the organization and hopefully adding income through additional members and the annual trade show. Jeff states, "I think I'm a pretty good communicator/facilitator, so I will bring ideas from my peers in the industry to the group including ideas that they believe in, but maybe I don't quite see their way. After all, it is a democracy and every member has a voice."
Jeff would also like to see more suppliers at the trade show which offers more purchasing opportunities to our members. He feels that this goes beyond parts purchasing and could include securing best shipping options and discounts for the group collectively.

 I've been thinking about what I should blog about and decided that it's a good time to introduce everyone to our amazing Board of Directors. Each week I'll introduce you to one of our board members and tell you a little bit about them. The National Tractor Parts Dealer Association Board of Directors works very hard to support you, our members, and we appreciate what they do for our Association.
I'd like to introduce you to Mr. Ralph Seymour. Ralph is an Associate Director and represents our Associate Members at all board meetings. Many of you know Ralph and his wife Kathy. They have been involved with the association for many years through Sparex, Inc. Ralph is Managing Director of Sparex and is responsible for distributing New Replacement Tractor Parts to dealers across the entire USA.
Ralph is serving his second term as Associate Director and his reason for running was because almost half of the members of the association are Associate Members who supply to the regular dealer members. Ralph states, "I wanted to be a voice for those associate members and find ways to better improve the relationship with the regular members, especially at the annual meeting."
Thanks, Ralph for your continued support and hard work. The association sincerely appreciates you!
